WD-40 is what I usually use.

I can’t freakin’ believe it. I ordered Aluminum spacers from McMaster-Carr last night and I opened my door to get some air and it’s sitting right there on my doorstep.

That little vacuuming doohickey is prolly meant for wood. Throw some motor oil on their as a test until you get some tap magic or whatever. I bet it slings it all over that clear plastic thing. I use the cheap cutting oil from northern tool, but I also can sharpen bits on a grinder/belt sander. If I'm doing a piece of thin stuff I typically dont worry about oil, but anything repetitive gets drenched to help it go faster. Wd-40 is a bit light for cutting by the way. Engraving, sure, but not drilling.

 

I take it these can be dialed in to stock ride height?

 

Yeah. I dont think ome sells coils that can support weight but give no lift

You can get kings that have a stiff coil rate and no lift

 

Yeah especially with the 600s, just dial em down to nothing.

Boy oh boy does any kind of workshop equipment like to make rust. First thing I am investing in when I get a real shop is a good dust collector system.

And some ridiculous three phase air compressor.

i have hybrid transmission magnets that collect all the shavings from my drill press. works well. damn magnets are strong as fuck

 

On another note i dont understand why people cant live shit tahs inst broke alone.

The head chef decided he wanted to completely change how we do something because he “thinks” it will be easier for him. Though he doesn’t it the hardest way possible vs i have zero issue with it. And if it doesn’t work out it hardly effects him but i have to deal with it for so long till we cant switch back. Idk why he couldn’t ask me first, i woulf of told him how stupid it is and how its not gunna work
