Cut the original hanger off of the OEM exhaust. I see the resemblance.

 

Anyone use the afr adjust with the 2tr? It does seem like the 2tr stays in closed loop longer than the rz motors.

 

I think it is worse.

 

I have one on my old patch harness. We've discussed using it. All comes back to what I said earlier.

Yeah. I've been following along with the information that @MrCrowntown/LCE and others have been finding out about the 2TR.

I picked up a MAPECU3 last year because the information at the time sounded like it would be a viable solution. Now the more that others are digging into it possibly not. I have it installed, but I haven't started trying to do any tuning with it.

What I may end up doing is getting some 1.5-2x size injectors to start playing with early next year. That way I can hopefully get a good NA base map going, and then piece together whatever FI setup I decide on and see how far the MAPECU3 will take me.

Has anyone determined what the stock 2TR injector flow rate is? I know @MrCrowntown or someone found some larger injectors that are supposed to fit the 2TR. I'd have to dig up the link.

For an end goal, I'd like to see 3-500 whp, which will probably require building the motor. If I reach a point where the MAPECU3 won't do the job before I get there I'll switch to a Haltech.

 

Does anyone remember what @KirkRio used as a tuning platform? If I recall he also had larger injectors installed on his turbo 2tr

 

Nevermind, he was using map ecu for tuning.

 

He has to have the AFR module as well. Therefore, I ask you @buyobuyo , do you have the AFR module installed?

Five-O Motorsports, if that is their correct name, has the size listed on their website. I want to say it's around ~300+ cc's.

 

cm3 = cc
cc is measured per minute, is listed as per 15 seconds (so multiply by 4)
71cc*4=284cc
86cc*4=344cc
60cc swing, middle of that is 314cc
@MrCrowntown told me 315cc, so we should be very confident this is correct

I think the confusion is coming from the fact that the image that you tried to post isn't showing up. I can't see it, and I'm guessing that @Torspd can't either. If I quote your post, it says that there is an attachment, but nothing is displayed.

As soon as I am ready to spend the money I am going with the haltech.
The mapecu3 was a super pain in the ass before I even started using it. The problem I encountered is there is no technical support and very little instruction for how to get the software going. You have to make sure you are not on WiFi when hooking up to it. I learned this the hard way and had to get urd to send a new file. I had to leave the truck parked for two days and encountered countless hours just trying to get the truck running. Thank you @Torspd for all the help.
