The right side is the bad side of these storms. Rain rain go away...

 

The more it rains upstream the more the coast is going to stay flooded and continue to flood. Not good.

Wow. I'd like to see what the haw and neuse rivers are doing since they flow directly into Wilmington. We've had steard rain here since Friday afternoon. The haw here is upstream of Jordan lake and is flowing pretty good.

 

Haw and Deep river merge outside Sanford at US1 after the lake to form the Cape Fear. These are from WRAL yesterday at 330pm

 

Ikr! Will be interesting how far West it goes before turning North. That will make a big difference for us.

Last night rain was the worst so far 7-8" thru my building so far

 

Not sure what is going on. Just saw Chinooks at approximately the Durham county/Chatham county line heading west. You see black hawks, UNC and Duke helicopters, and news choppers all the time. Chinooks...I can't remember ever seeing them before.
