Huge thanks to AJ! Took a short road trip down to his place this morning to pick up my grill and ended up installing it on the spot.

I don’t know AJ personally, we just met this morning and from what I gathered about him is he is super busy, he just had a kid, busy with family life, work life and does not do this full time. Please be patient with him responding back to you about the mishap.

And your grill is completely useable without the letter inserts, it’s your choice to use it or not. You can always install them when they arrive

I can assure you that your issue will be resolved, just give him some time to get around to responding to you. I can understand your frustration and wanting to get an answer to your question. If you would like, I am more than happy to send you my letter inserts. They are only held on by two sided sticky tape and I can easily have them pulled off, packaged and mailed off to you by the end of the weekend. I live 15 minutes from the guy and am not worried about obtaining replacements.

any word on when I would be able to order one? would like to support the TW community more than some unknown from china.
Also, some quality control is always appreciated.

 

First things first.... SORRY, this is a mistake and is totally on ME. I WILL FIX IT.
The grill is supposed to come with everything, theres no excuse but I had so many back ordered and I wanted to ship them out so quick that I missed that... I understand the frustration and I will make it right for you and anyone else that may run into issues with their grille or anything else I sell.

I sent you a text too but I have the letters, I will ship them out priority mail, you're not too far from me so you will get them pretty quick. I'll throw in a little extra gift in there for the trouble.

 

I am SUPPOSED to get a new batch in about 2 weeks, keep an eye out for updates, I appreciate you supporting the community (me) but I also understand if you can't wait.
I was taking backorders before but I'm not a fan of taking peoples money without having something to give in return. I will open preorders when I have an exact date for when I will be able to ship them out.

 

Do the letters come off so that they can be painted?

 

Yes the letters can easily be taken off and painted. I plan on doing mine sometime this week.

FYI, I did find the TACO GARAGE email (it worth noting that Gmail may put it your the Promotions tab) that said my order was complete/shipped as of Sep 12. However, the tracking number shows it has not been received by USPS yet.

 

I will look into this, USPS has done that to me before, somehow they “forget” to scan the packages and a month later the package comes back to me... or I just never see them again. And then I have to file an insurance claim.
