No, not the tires, those wheels are directional, and typically mounted the opposite way, so that it appears that the torque of the drive is stretching the openings in the wheel. Note my image.

With the spokes thrusting forward they act like claws, better for crawling.

With wheels like that, unless they are expensive, chances are they're usually only available in one direction, no left & right.

 

If they are the Enkei's that were put on as dealer add-ons, mostly in the Southeast and Gulf states dealerships in the mid 90's, they were directional, two of each for a set. Those were the wheels on my truck when I took my profile pic.

 

Those aren't the Enkei's that dealers were putting on Tacomas for that "sport" package. They were only on 5 lugs too. My co worker had one.

 

No, I had a set of 6 lug ones, Enkei brand. Lots of them were put on in the south. I bought mine on eBay in the mid 90's. The centers for them are more precious than gold on eBay. I had lost one, and went on eBay thinking to pick one up for $10-15. They were asking $90-100 EACH!! I immediately advertised and sold the remaining three that I had. Pretty much paid for a set of 2017 factory alloy take-offs that were brand new, with lugs and centers.

 

That's absolutely insane. I would never pay that that much for an Enkei center but to each their own. Work, Rays, or SSR maybe. Enkei is like the American Racing of Japan.

The Ford F-150 1980 to 86 has a 9” with 5 lug. Those have a 66.25” wms to wms. It’s a cheap way for LT guys to add a 9” to the rear.

Toyota has a plethora of Special Service Tools that can do a variety of different things. These tools are designed to make the job as efficient and quickly as possible for a Toyota technician. They are more specialized than universal.

The tool to hold the crank pulley in place, for example, is not something you can buy anywhere. It’s a specifically made tool engineered by Toyota. There are many many Toyota SST’s out there for a variety of things.

This isn’t just Toyota. Ever manufacturer has their own form of an SST.

 

It’s not a crank puller. It’s literally two pieces of steel and three bolts that hold the crankshaft so you can remove the main bolt.
