...^^^... That deal was maybe in Augusta, GA ... trying to get a deal like that now.

i did NOT understand the GA SALES TAX cost though  ... should have been a lot higher on an outright deal ??

Maybe I missed something though ??

South Carolina residents have a max of $500 for sales tax on vehicle purchases. This applies whether the resident makes a purchase in South Carolina or a surrounding state. I live in South Carolina and bought the truck at Milton Ruben Toyota in Augusta Georgia.

I didn't know they still made OffRoads in 4x2. Saw quite a few of them advertised when the 2016's came out. Do they have a locker and crawl control.

You feel like you got a good deal? I've had 39.5 quoted for a sport dclb 4x4 loaded in socal. Good to see that price has room to improve. Other dealers are pulling the oh it's such a rare truck routine. Ugh.

Just bought a Silver TRD OR SB with premium & tech pkgs and tonneau for 38k in Colorado Springs at 2.9% APR for 72 months. Was 41k OTD or something like that. I am sure I could have received a better deal in Denver, but the vehicle I was trading in had a driveshaft that was going and it wouldn't have made it up there without grenading first.

Yes, the 4X2 comes with a rear locker. Crawl Control is only available with 4X4.

That is why I never buy local. Toyota dealers where I live MAY give you $400 off msrp. My last 3 were bought 300-400 miles away. Now Fords are crazy cheap away from home. I basically get employee prices in other areas. The last 2 Fords I bought new (2014 and 2016) were thousands cheaper than the lowest local dealers. My 2016 Taco was roughly $1400 off msrp in Maryland. That was a good discount on, at that time, a rare access cab Sport 4x2. My local dealers wanted more for a SR5 access cab than I paid for a Sport. When they first came out here they flooded the dealers with Sport double cabs and they were all $2500 off msrp and all had the bed cover. That was a good price in late 2015 if I wanted a double cab. I had no use for the rear seat in my 2008 PreRunner so prefer the long bed over the rear seats. Looks like the longer the 3rd gen is on the market that dealers are finally negotiating.

I think I got a good deal. Almost 4K off msrp and considering majority or dealers I talked to didn’t even have allocations for 2019 yet. I was the first 2019 taco sold at that dealer and even some of the workers were coming to check out the vehicle as they were surprised the 19 was in yet.

I’ve also gotten better deals purchasing vehicles at dealerships located out of town.

I just got this offer, what do guys think? It's not the color I was looking for but...

2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 Double Cab
    Total MSRP $ 38,388
    Sale Price $ 35,240 with Special APR 1.9% up to 60 months / 2.9% for 72 months
Or Cash Deal Special $ 34,240
    Price include destination and handling.

I also was looking at a used 2018 white TRD Sport with 12k miles 4x2 and premium and tech for $33.5k.

Yep just picked up a 2018 4x2 offroad with tech, mats, and running boards for 32K with my trade only 820 added for tax so it was 32820 otd

It has a locker no crawl control. The running boards have the steps on them and for now I hate them because I always kick them. When I learn not to I might change my mind if not they will be coming off.

Anybody here from NorCal ? Only dealer I've seen mentioned is Santa Rosa ? Any thing closer in Sacramento area? I contacted 3 dealers in Elk Grove, Central Valley and Stockton and not really getting any good discounts. And all 3 don't want to work online ..asking me to pay them a visit in person but I'd rather work out the figures over the phone/email first before wasting my time in a dealership.

Looking for a short bed crewcab Sports 4X4 . No rush currently as I'll be trading my X5 but for the right deal, I'll take the bite. Hoping we see some clearence figures on the 2018 models come Oct end.

I’m in Sacramento and I just went to Santa Rosa. Almost 4K below msrp for a 19. If you want an 18 they can definitely take care of you. Make it a weekend and go wine tasting. THats what I did

Only $2k under MSRP but they all wanted me to visit them in person to "negotiate further". I ran into this thing with my local dealers last time we bought my wife's 2017 GMC Denali and we ended up buying it for much much cheaper at Placeville GM.

To give you an idea on pricing I saw, I was able to get a taco with premium and tech package in Santa Rosa for less than a taco with just tech package in Sacramento area.

Help please. Out of town dealer in Norcal (I live in Socal) has an 18 Sport 4x4 DCLB with tech/premium for 36.5. My local dealer has offered 39 even for a 19 same truck. I fly for free so really it's just the drive home for the difference. Thoughts? Transmission complaints have been fixed by the 18 right? JBL Entune still the same?
