I got Midland X-talker T31 from bass pro. Comes in pack of two. ItsI been good. I think most radios do a decent job. Do your research and check reviews.

Working on making a roof rack for my cap and cab. Doing the cap first. Here's what I came up with.
I wanted to keep it light so decided on aluminum.

Oh i know, im just waiting for mine to go off. Just a matter of time unless chevy fixes it

Major issue with these trucks but now people are talking about it so hopefully chevy will smarten up. We have an “offroad” mode, im no engineer but a simple software update that when you turn it on, the airbags are disabled. Toyota even made a switch just for it. Couldn’t be that hard ???

Toyota removed that button on TuRD gen and replaced it with sensors to avoid lawsuits from people. Often people forget to press that switch.
Looking by the amount abuse and smashing I've done to my truck, I would say their sensors are well calibrated!

    Noooobs, this guy got lucky.

Long story short this is salmon lake trail or something, its closed on O4WD i think i saw because of this huge mud hole, last year i want by in my tacoma and it wasnt fun taking the “shallow” part.

I was like its a hard part ill go down and see how the trail is till the whole, found this guy stuck in the whole. Said he had been there for 2 hours already. Doubt anyone else wouldve gone down the trail all day

So far sounds like @Norilsk and I heading up during the day likely for Friday, @tacoma16 coming Friday night (saying only staying one night but we'll fix that by just taking his keys)

One of my Jeep friends is coming with his brother (Jeep from snow run) Saturday morning I told him aim for 9-10am.

So the rest @Tridet167 @Canadianguy91 @sorgon82 @Taco-Can would say probably a good time to aim for as well.

Plan I think is fuck around on South trail and off shoots maybe so portion of black lake loop as well.

Not sure for everyone else but I'll be gone Sunday morning. Need to be back in Toronto by 1pm the absolute latest.

depends what we run. South trail is 8-10 hours, north is 3-5 round trip.

We can either stop and cook a meal or just have snacks. I always have my fridge with me so its kinda different.

This run, I don't think ill bring any jerry cans. If I change my mind, Ill only bring 20 litres.

For those that this is their first time, ardbeg isn't necessarily far from civilization, but your still a good 30-45mins from the nearest service centre....make sure you have what you need for the time period your staying.
