Yeah I have seen underneath when I replaced a broken pop n lock. I guess I didnt consider how flimsy the plastic is currently. Havent used it for anything heavy/tough on the tailgate.

 

Anyone going to decorate their rig for Halloween? Usually do it for Christmas but would be fun for Halloween

A friend of mine recently cut his and we tried 5-6 different combinations to cover the cut. His dad even brought some sealant over that he/the military uses on the Blackhawk. Ended up replacing the CV axle. (It is a Ford) I do like the duck tape idea to get you to town.

I really don’t want to add any weight to my tail gate or it’s going to take my kids head off when he reaches up to open it. Are they aluminum?

Mine blows air out of every vent no matter what vent is selected. It is more concentrated out of the selected vent. But still comes out everywhere even when in the off position.

Looking really good!! I’ve wanted a Taco since I saw Back to the Future in theaters. Finally got one this spring. Hahaha

 

Amazon, but they are the Wavian brand for gas and Specter for water. Really good cans but always sold out it seems.

It’s called a Schutz styled gun you only spray at 45-60 pounds. In hot weather it dries pretty quickly but with the temp drops and especially the high himidity it took several days

 

World of Speed out on the Bonneville Salt Flats. If you go to the starting line, they basically let you stand about 10 feet from them on launch. I could have entered the taco, but the near $400 entry fee was a little too stiff for me. Besides, my taco loaded EAF will do 102 and no mas. As tested the last time I was in Bonneville The purple streamliner behind me broke their record with a 488 mph pass.

Also while watching the races, we ran into a pair of proper overlanders from Belgium sporting a tan Mercedes truck and a twin axle mercedes semi. Adamisontheroad and AtypicalYear on IG if you are curious. The Adamis' shipped their truck over from Belgium and started their NA trek with their 2 kids on the 4th of July in Halifax, Nova Scotia.






Plus since we were in Wendover, we went and saw the Wendover Air Force base museum where they based the Enola Gay and the first Atomic Bombs. Plus got to go in this bird. Wanna guess what movie it starred in?

Which back to the future?

 

Finally trimmed and reinstalled the fender well liners. Not really a good way to secure them in the front when running an aftermarket plate bumper. Drilled a couple holes and used wire ties.
