To be honest if they were stuck and water rising trying to get out before the water ended up in the intake might save big bucks in repair. Once your in the water it’s to late to stop and back up.

Ayup. It's even more fun when one admits one was drinking at the time of the big slide, and the doctor says "Well, I can't give you anything for the pain then".
    Or so I've heard. :anonymous:

Well Baby K would have tipped over and puked trying to lift the whole unit so it was dismantled , on a guess the unit together weighs in about 1800 after dismantling the bell assembly is 700 ish the tractor is only rated for 700 at the pin and it would curl and barely lift it . But it would only lift at mid lift and lower at full RPMs.

Yup, no pain meds. The alcohol could mess with the meds and put you in worse shape, or the police may be coming later for your blood. In which case you don't want anything in there besides the alcohol. In that case, ask for coffee, lots of it.

When we lived in Miami, a old man ran a light and smashed into our car. No seat belts in those days, head went into the glass, knee crashed into the dash. The nurses had to pick the glass cubes out of head then scrub out the splinters. No pain meds till they were sure I didn't have brain trauma. Just the thought of scrubbing wounds gives me the willies.

Hey, everyone in NC and SC still ok? Looks like major flooding on the coast, but nothing inland. Now debating if changing our trip was a good idea, but it's done now. We'll be there next weekend regardless.
