Why do you need it parked up in the air? Airport is all I can think of.

I have the ladies car and it will not make it past the high water going in to Wilmington. Looking to stash it for a while and take my truck in and get it after water subsides. Thanks for the tip.

Most of us live around Raleigh in non flood areas. Could park it at someone's house. Disclaimer: not responsible for natural damage/dofuses about. But maybe a better option than a deck.

From reports I'm getting you are not going to make it there any time soon. They are flying in supplies because they can't get trucks in.

@nastyneight @HIghlande2 or anyone else down at the coast making arrangements now to head down wed afternoon as that looks like it'll be the earliest we can make it even close. If y'all need some supplies let me know and I'll try and make it happen.

I knew about the flying in supplies. I know several convoys were going down 40 today and I spoke with some at a gas station, they said they will be in tonight regardless. The guard and FBI. They have the vehicles to do it.
My thoughts and the thoughts of other city employees is 421 will probably be opened up first as it is tidal flooding, that was my thought on a route in. Unless y'all know of back roads in that will drain sooner. I would like to be part of the group that goes in Wednesday if I do not get in sooner.

Finger crossed that this does not get any worse.

Hopefully supplies will flow, and the crazies stay away.

We are gonna make a push for Wilmington in the morning barring some crazy news in the meantime. NCDOT TIMS map shows we are clear to Jacksonville then down 17 to Wilmington.

Anyone have any info to the contrary? I’m sick of the fear mongers on Facebook but I’m also a realist. None of our vehicles are small. Full ton van, my Jeep, stock Jeep, lifted 4Runner, and a 3/4 ton that’s lifted 6” on 35s lol.

Just trying to scout a route into town so we can start planning on bringing our clients back. Turning into the lord of the flies out here on the farm.. plus a few other factors that are pushing us to leave. One house plus our office has electricity and we have an obscene amount of water left over.

I hope you gents are fairing well!
