    T-stat opens when it reaches a certain point. Water temp is mostly dependant on the radiator size. As @Speedytech7 said a few posts up. Only real way to lower water temp is like a 3 core aluminum radiator.

    I bet that was expensive. It's been done so many times now it shouldn't be that hard. Still over my head though

    I'm starting to wonder what is in liquid wrench, kroil or any of these other penetrants. It never fails that after using them I end up with a migraine and half.

    I had a can of pb blaster go off in my truck because something pressed the nozzle. Still can smell it after 2 weeks

    Yup. That's what I'm dealing with today. Ton of rain as it moves inland. Power has been gone for 3 hours or so. Generator wont be put to work until tomorrow if its still out.
