I did my first ever ceramic paint coating. I used the kit that Adams has. It’s amazing.66CF740D-5C9E-4454-820F-452EF2563B4A.jpg

I'd lose some money, but yeah I might go that direction. It'll depend on whether I can get this diff howl thing fixed (or the degree to which they're able to fix it). Right now it's not even close to tolerable.

Replaced my stock grill with a pro look-a-like and plasti dipped the letters. (We will see how long they'll hold up)20180916_200428.jpg

I'd like to ceramic coat my truck before it has too much road rash on front end. Truck is 3 weeks old. Why did you chose Adam's? Was it a difficult process?

What color is your truck? Mine is silver with the red 4X4 on the bed, it would match good

Not a clue why you guys are getting such bad gas mileage. Did you go to heavier/bigger tires, maybe driving with the ECT on all the time. I got this the other day and it's pretty typical of what I normally get. When the wife drives it, it actually gets better. And no, I live in south Central Florida, and there ain't no hills.

That’s true. What I meant was that you have to take the whole assembly off of the truck to swap out the bezel. But it’s very easy.

His money, his truck. As long as it’s done tastefully. I’ve seen much worse.

Damn. That’s horrible man. You only get 13 mpg? I don’t think I have ever gotten that low before. On average, I get 17-19 mpg and that’s with me actually driving my truck. If I take it easy, the. I can get 19-21 mpg. Hell I drive up and down the mountains, gunning it at 80-90 mph and I still got 16.4 mpg. Were you towing something and that’s why you got only 13 mpg?

You had a good load on it! Brings back good memories from back in the day

The couple times I’ve pulled/hauled this 3rd gen has pulled with ease.

    Nice truck.

I’d agree with you. Heavy traffic 22 mpg and light traffic 24-25.

Since I went to the KO2's last year I can get 18 in town if I baby it. Otherwise I get 16 but if I sit in it 30 minutes during lunch running with a/c on at work it drops to 15. On highway I get 21.5 to 24.
