Guys just ordered a new master and slave from rock auto, Aisin brand of course. The only part of this job that seems confusing is adjusting pedal and master. Any insight ?

School has got me so damn busy but I decided on Friday I would throw on the skid plates finally after grabbing all new hardware since All Poo doesn't even know what hardware to provide. Got the front 4 bolts on loosely so I could make some adjustments to align the rear two bolts and realized the socket head cap screw style bolts they provided aren't even the right thread pitch... needs to be an M8x1.25 and they provided and drilled the plate out for a M10x1.50... So I went to get the right size bolt which now won't fill the hole properly that they so graciously drilled out and to top it all off the holes don't even line up.... Like wtf!? So now I'm either going to be notching the skid plate to allow it to bolt up or calling and dealing with All Poo who can't seem to do anything correctly... Sorry for my rant.

And yes looking back I wish I had never gotten this damn front bumper from them, even though it looks good imo.

Went to put ice in my cooler for the week at work. I use the bed of the truck as a workbench for this sort of thing...
Grabbed the handle. Didn't pull very hard. It blew up in my hand. . Pieces flew everywhere, a few hit my face. Crazy.

Using one. Was twisting the whole brake line in the clip rather than budging the nut. Looks like that section of hard line is only ~$10 so I'll probably order one tomorrow.

I don't totally follow where the bolts don't fit, but two things:

    1. I'm not sure I'd use a socket head cap screw on a skid - seems prone to getting bashed, and then hard to remove. Just get a correct thread-pitch hex bolt IMO.
    2. If you need to use an M8 where they drilled a hole for an M10, just use a washer.

CBI sliders, ADS extend travel with compression adjuster coil overs, 9” Bilstein 5125 rear shocks, Icon Tubular UCA, Alcan custom leafs, All Pro Apex bumper and skids, NWTI rear diy bumper, 295/70/17 Cooper St Maxxs and nitro 4.88s.
My truck was struggling to engage the 4x4 this weekend. I would press the button and nothing would happen. Any ideas on what would cause that?

Someone decided to go head on with my truck while it was parked outside Walmart . But you should see the other guy 3F270337-32C6-438D-AABD-9212C8082E4F.jpg 18B44576-13CE-42A1-9F93-3418C6329CCB.jpg759576BA-87C6-4DC2-B1DD-CA6764EE4265.jpg 32B4C5BD-BBAC-4986-8244-D560E356E201.jpg Had to replace the radiator, core support (which was a pain in the ass) , and weld up a new bumper . Also welded up some beefy plate mounts for the bumper . I threw in some of the energy suspension bushing for the support due to the stock ones being shot . They are made for the second gens but fit perfectly and honestly reduce a lot of body roll . Just got a new windshield thrown in as well with 35% tint which I have a prescription for . Makes a huge difference here in Az and looks better imo . Here she is all put together as of today 2DF3E58D-E86A-46E7-B602-624CA763FEE3.jpgA8548B1B-7A98-453F-8AEF-B47746AE40D8.jpg

I would use a regular bolt but my fear is that since the socket head cap screws are used they pre-drilled the counter sink for them making that area much thinner that the rest of the plate since the socket head cap screws are supposed to fill it. Kinda hard to explain in writing

Thought about it that would be fun ! My frame is rusting out. Found a crack started grinding off the under coat found a nice size hole near the crack . Mad rust! One of the frame supports that holds the gas tank is almost gone. So frame swap here I come!!
