I bet it's the original owner.

My house has a lifetime warranty on the roof also. Because I have 70 year shingles? Nope. Because they know the average time a person lives in a house is 7 years. The percentage is low they'll have to actually warranty it.

Same is true for vehicles, but I'm guessing the average time someone keeps a vehicle is very low.

Oh guaranteed. Thid tacoma is my 3rd new vehicle in 3.5 years. I'm hoping to keep this one for a decent amount of time though.

The coating just has to hold up 5 years while I'm in a land of little to no pavement or dealerships. After that, I'll assess as to whether I keep it depending on where i live.

Damn that's crazy, 3 brand new vehicles in under 4 years? Ever thought about Leasing or do you mod your vehicles too much to consider it?

    Haha theres an explanation...

    I owned a 2 door Civic for 7 years.

Upon moving to a new province I decided to upgrade to a brand new 2015 2 door civic. Two years later I got into hunting big time. The two door civic wasnt going to work for storage.

So I got a '17 civic hatchback sport touring. Which was great.. until a year later I found out I was moving north of the 60th parallel. The hatchback is a great car and has more features than the tacoma (tech wise). But it's far too low go the ground to be useful where I'll be living. So it got traded for the tacoma.

I'll be living up there for minimum 5 years so my trend of buying vehicles will thankfully stop!

ahhh gotcha gotcha. That makes total sense tbh. Moving and lifestyle are completely valid reasons to sell a pretty new car and buy another new

Who all has done a black roof on their cement Tacoma? I'm debating whether or not I want to. The clear 3rd brake light would need to be tinted if I do it, otherwise it will stick out like crazy.

Thanks man. It is lexus RX350 projectors with clear sti-r lenses and have been tuned. The hid system is Osram CBI d2s bulbs and right now I'm running morimoto xb35 ballasts, but I think I'm gonna move up to legit denso ballasts and pot them. It's a great set up and give a big difference in light. Another great thing is since they are projectors that were designed for hid, they actually have foreground limiters as opposed to the stock tacoma projectors.

Have this same setup on my Subaru but with matsushita ballasts..killer. Have led bulbs in my taco for now just waiting to have time to retrofit. Once you’re used to that hid cutoff it’s hard to have anything else!

I think it looks a little better without, but the convenience of a folding rack is hard to beat. As for the brake light, I like the clear, I think it would only need smoked if you did the headlights as well.

Looked around and saw that a lot seems to like Wet Okoles. Just ordered a set with the console cover as well. Thanks for recommending!
