17 is closed in a few places first is just S of Jacksonville at the 24 intersection says closed until 19th then down near hamstead kiwanis park says closed until the 20th. You may be able to find routes around these closures as they look like they are not that long. What route are you taking into Jacksonville I am seeing a long stretch of 24 closed between kenansville and beulaville. Be safe I would probably just send a couple of the vehicles out to scout routes. I am waiting to hear from our neighbor down there he is going to be trying to make it back to his place and give us an idea of a route to take. I am getting anxious also and want to get down there.

From what I've been hearing, getting into Wilmington not going to be easy, sounds like every route has flooding, or parts collapsed or eroded, and the cape fear will still be getting higher for next couple days. But some peeps near by are getting power so that's a plus

Look at the glorious skylight my landlord installed for me while I was gone!

If I saw her in person right now I’d likely choke her. Been telling her for 6-8 months to replace my roof, someone came out to inspect it and give a quote and said “it HAS to be replaced before hurricane season.” She didn’t listen to either of us.

@nastyneight any interior pictures of the shop? Any "real" damage? Glad the water rolled out pretty speedily.

    What hasn't been modified?
If you have a record of the inspection saying it has to be replaced. Ya cound sue her for endangerment to you and/or your property.

Believe me, if she doesn’t handle this perfectly from today forward, that will be happening. Along with the homeowner. My business lawyer is ruthless lol
