Brake line at full droop wasn't a concern right now since the 5160s already came with an extension. If rogueoffroad had their shit together then maybe it would have been installed the same day.

What do you mean by the shock extension length affecting the parking brake line being hyper-extended?

    Honest question

The guys who give hunters a bad name are the two jackwads we encountered on the trail today. They were set up with a vatage point of a switchback in the trail (what the fuck were they hunting? Humans?). It's a good stratigic vantage for a military operation, but isn't going to work well for hunting.

So I saw these jackalopes about 3 minutes before they saw us (I don't do blaze orange, it clashes with my eyes)... but they finally see us coming down the trail towards them. I get within about 20 feet of them at the apex of the switch back, and I hear one of them rack the bolt on his rifle.

Ok... so I can't rack my bolt, because unbenknownst to him, I already did that while I was walking away from the truck an hour before this... so I pull my (already cocked and locked) pistol out of the holster and say "Really?"... For some reason they didn't want to talk to us.

Dudes like that just piss me off.

Oh, if you mean that the shock fully extended prevents the brake line from drooping that much... I understand

Lol I was really asking if you could dumb the question down because I don't know which brake lines you were talking about...

The parking brake lines can be moved to give it more slack. I didn't know if you were talking about the normal brake lines that are on the top side of the drivers rear axle - those extended lines are on order.

No worries. I was concerned with both of them.

Also, I think the word you were looking for is "specific"

    5160s have similar specs.

On a more positive note though... Had another GREAT weekend in the woods. Got our secondary camping spot again (starting to think it may be our primary spot from now on, I'm really starting to like it)

Had a great hunt this morning, saw some good bucks. I got about as close as you can get without closing the deal this morning on a 3x3.

Hiked to the edge of our area, took a peak over the ridge and found a lot more ground we can cover in the future.

Been wanting to get into hunting for a while. Just havnt found the time to get started (only myself to blame)

Part of me was waiting until i moved out of state, but maybe thats just my excuse lol

Sitting here at the Tracy stealership to get my brakes looked at. (Yes yes, i know, kill me its embarrassing).

They rebuilt my rear brakes and now only 200 miles later theyre clicking.

I hope they are fixing it for free. Since they did the work the first time. But then they wouldn’t be the stealership.
