Just got it!! Last guy did a couple things.... some good, some bad.. Jump forward almost 2 weeks, I’ve put on a HS Off-road 2” lift kit with 5100s all around, new springs, and a AAL in the rear, with TRD 17x7” SEMA wheels wrapped in 255-80-17 Toyo Open Country ATs Installed InSight Retrofits HIDs, look friggin' sweeeet Husky Weatherbeater Action onboard
Grew up in Pville, but been living in Sac for a handful of years now, right near Madison/Garfield. Work for Metro Fire, and I see Tacomas cruising all over town, I'm sure I've seen a lot of you. Keep seeing a second gen access cab with nice big tacomabeast stickers on it on Elkhorn, in the evenings usually.

Of course if I see a tacoma parked around anywhere I'll be nice and creepy... park next to it... pictures with it... whisper sweet nothings between the 2 trucks... mmmmmm....

I may have tweaked a few things...
Someone once said that as a rule you must take an available space next to another Tacoma when parking. I feel like I’m scoring combo points when I can park adjacent to more than one.

Not too far from you off of Elkhorn. Probably passed you up many times.

Primarily a bass fisherman but took my first salt water trip a month ago. Headed to the Sonoma coast again Sunday to chase some lings. Hopefully the swells are more bearable and I don't throw up again lol.

I'm still not sure it's for me either, lol. Going to give it another try, especially now having a better idea of what to expect. Didn't help the first time I went, got car sick sitting in the back of my cousin's Tundra and didn't dress properly for the cold morning.

It’s a lot of work, but tons of fun. The work comes from getting suited up, and dealing with all the gear.
The tourneys are a blast, so much good food and drink going around camp. And loads of good people to help you out.
Check out Nor Cal Kayak Anglers forum. Loads of information and good dudes.

This time of year can be the best fishing on the north coast. But like you said, pick your days, as it can get shitty!

My dad and I are going to launch from the barge access in west sac Saturday. Hopefully the bass will be hitting the top water like a couple week ago at Lake Washington. Though we'll be taking his F150, my heart will be with my Tacoma.

That spot always has treated me well. Paradise point was fun 2 weekends ago. Striper boils started everywhere and we caught fish, back to back for 30mins. This Saturday my brother and cousins, along with some friends are headed to Timber Cove to fish for lings. I have surgery tomorrow morning to remove my gallbladder. So depending on how I feel, I maybe out chasing lings lol. Tight lines and good luck.

I already posted this to TW Express but I am looking for someone from Sacramento who is/are planning on taking a trip down south. I am in Orange County off the 5 fwy but can meet you on your route. I want to buy some step bars from another member on here and I have to be frugal after the Pelfrey BS.

Anyway, let me know or keep me in mind. Willing to compensate for your troubles or give you a place to crash while on your journey.

    Thanks TW!

Has anyone driven Baltic ridge? Planning on checking it out myself but thought I’d ask for some tips and tricks first.

Driven it many times. Easy trail for a stock 4x4. No rock-crawling, but will need ground clearance.
Goes west to east from Bonnetti

It has 3 sections. The first (trailhead at Bonnetti) snakes thru trees and is quite narrow.
The second is not passable due to overgrowth (last time I tried it). Not-maintained by the FS
The third (much longer than the first) has a separate trailhead off of road 10N46.

    Have fun.

Has anyone gone to Indian Valley area lately? Just bought my second Taco the otherday after trading in my Ram 2500. Looking to try it out the 4X4 somewhere without beating the crap out of my truck (or me) I’m in Colusa county.

Anyone know a good source for fiberglass topper/camper brand new? I've found ARE locations but looking for some other options because they want $3300+!
