We dodged a bullet here in Charleston. Mild winds and little rain. Not complaining, but we have to add water to pool. Picked up lots of pecan branches.

 good here. Lots of leaves /twigs /dead branches down. Less than an inch of rain so far. Many trees down in town though

:fistbump: to the Cajun navy for traveling to assist.

    Make it so Number One!

You'll never guess what is happening here. It's raining. Sigh. Fortunately the weather radar shows the remnants of Florence moving quickly; she should be out of our hair later tonight.

I spent 5 hours in the yard yesterday, because it was FINALLY dry (except where it was still squishy). Weed whack, trim, mow. Over half of the time was weed whacking, because the weeds have been coming up everywhere in this darn weather. I almost can't wait for winter.

    Morning all:
Just got done getting the 66 Chevy inspected. The guy I go to showed me a pic. of a large rattlesnake that he killed right by his garage and mentioned that about 15 of them have been killed in about a 5 mi. stretch plus two in town. They were always in the area, but few and far between, looks like they are multiplying! :(

What was the reason for getting the '66 inspected?

I have "classic" plates on it, still need to get it inspected, if I were to switch to antique plates I wouldn't need to.
I paid a one time fee for the permanent "classic" plates, to change it over to an antique plate I would have to pay again for another permanent plate.
The "classic" plate also has less restrictions than the antique plate, that's why I went with it originally and will probably just stay with it.

But why an inspection? Smog equipment? VIN?
Got a pest overnight, first this year, first time setting a trap this year.

Just an annual Pa inspection required for all trucks and cars used on the highway, other than those with antique plates. It could be worse, at one time you had to get a vehicle inspected twice a year. That was another thing, when I got the "classic" plate they had the 2X a yr. inspection, "classic" plates were only once a year.
