Has anybody had a water leak from the cabrac? I'm trying to trace down my leak. I'm finding water on the driver's side floor board after a hard rain and/or washing my truck. I sealed all the holes during install so I don't believe its coming from the cabrac but thought i'd ask.

    Thanks!

I ordered/Installed my rack recently and had to purchase the gasket separately. I assembled my rack upside down in my office, and had my wife lift it over the truck once assembled.

I've had mine for 3 years with no leaks! Did you use a Hersey size kiss of silicone? I put the spaces down and it mushroomed out under them! I also put a lite coat on the bolts

This definitely sounds like its coming from the rack. It will run down the A or B pillars and get the carpet wet.

I'm guessing you didn't use enough silicone on one of your mounting points. Really need to glob that stuff in there like a hershey kiss, as quoted above.

EDIT - it's fixable, so don't freak out. Just reapply the silicone and let interior dry out and you should be fine. I live in FL and mine doesn't leak despite monsoon level rains nearly every day.

It's pretty easy to remove the headliner. When you remove it you can see where the bolts come through. I'd remove the headliner and look for water signs or rust and you can pin point where it's coming from.

you got lucky. My rack and bars showed up scratched to shit and dented. CBI replied with a pathetic $50 credit. "thats what our Powercoat costs". Disappointing.

Thank you very much for the replies. I think I will drop the head liner at least on the driver's side to see what is going on. I certainly used a "Hershey Kiss" sized amount of silicone when installing. However I did have to re-adjust the bolts to get them to all go down so i'm thinking this has a lot to do with my issue. Time to get to work.

Anyone in Indiana, or between Indy and Charlotte, NC, or Indy and Binghamton NY (my next couple weekends of trips)........

and want to buy a load panel off of me? Would prefer to meet up along the way instead of ship this awkward thing. I just put a solar panel there so no longer need.

I think I was just butthurt because the brackets that came with the lightbar don’t work. I can’t get the light level. I ordered some of the heretic ones from prinsu’s site. They look like they’ll allow more rotation.

I added a couple washers under my bracket to fix the same issue. Best .15¢ I ever spent.
