Just wondering if anyone has anything to say about these rocks or experience with them particularly the expedition racks that go on the front of the cab that cover the whole cab in a double cab

Can't speak to FrontRunner personally, but am a big fan of Prinsu as many others are on TW. Plus most FrontRunner attachments/accessories will fit a Prinsu and it's very heavy duty and has held up to a lot of abuse in the last 2 years and still looks new

front runner slimline 2 is the best rack on the market...

as far as I am aware it has the highest rating for weight and there are multiple videos online of front runner lifting up entire vehicles by the rack...

just my .02, my truck already had it on when i purchased the truck used.

not the cheapest rack on the market by any means

They sure are! I haven't got the bar yet, but soon. The thing is beefy and has limitless options on mounting stuff. Here was my previous setup but changed it because of that wind fairing.

From frontrunner. It comes either the way you see on mine or one that goes where the stock wind deflecters are. I know @CaliRaisedLed has a different option too.

Those D2 cubes are mounted via frontrunner's spot light mounts. I'm excited about some aftermarket options on those.

ALSO, does anyone have or had the factory dealer installed and how would those compare to a slimline if you just put a rack on the factory bars? It’s a bit cheaper to go that route since a slimline frontrunner rack set up in $1200 CDN

I got it off Amazon. It's an Inno Universal Fairing. Much better with noise and looks way cooler.

    Working on them
Roof Rack Load rating is one thing that can be misleading if you take that number for the load they say you can put on it with it installed on the vehicle, The last time I looked The Tacoma's are rated at 300 Lbs dynamic load and 600 Lbs static and that is Not with the Toyota Roof Rack Just saying check carefully before loading up and finding after a good hard trail run the damn door wont open or there is a spider web crack in the front windshield?
