    Edited.

I just happen to be going close to the guy who has the +4, next weekend

I wonder if I should get them. Would +4 look weird on non LT?

I used 315s with spidertrax and it looked great.

I am not a fan of spacers in general. I have 3.5BS wheels and 315s.

This is what it would look like

As @Hawk373 mentioned, you'd most likely need spacers to not have the wheels sunk way into the fenders. How far do you stick out past the fenders do you stick out now? McNeil makes a +2 fender which would probably be a better option.

Same resultant back space: 4.75”BS Methods with the 1.25” spacers = 3.5”BS. The spacers definitely have potential for serious problems.

Don’t get too wrapped up on the number of 4”. At the very widest part it may be 4”, but the fore and aft portions taper significantly back toward the lights/body. The 4” is in addition to the sheet metal too. They aren’t taking into account the factory fender flares, so that’s an inch right there.

I always read people saying things like 4” fenders are for 3.5LT and 6” are for XLT. Not the case, plenty of guys with 3.5”LT run 6” Fiberwerx and the like, and 2” LT look awesome with 4”; even imposters like me. 3.5LT will actually protrude past 4” fenders. Just depends on the stance/coverage your looking for and how much trimming you’d like to avoid.
    I went up to 6” Fiberwerx for the LSK kit that’s 4”LT(not shown) 6D08733C-6DAE-498C-A5DC-0ABFD4136C3B.jpg 7DD9A928-62DE-43CA-A8E5-1077FCB9981F.jpg 55D7C68E-0889-446A-A8E7-FCEAEBEEE362.jpg
Before glass they stuck way out with trimmed sheet metal and no flares...

Yea, +2 is my plan. Subtle.

I've already cut my stock fenders and flares 2".

I offered that guy 350, and he accepted. Just thought it was a good deal for the east coast

I disagree, those 2” fenders are honestly only adding a true 1” to the over all width of a stock truck (although it gives more fenderwell space). I would have had to trim those things too. Hell, I trimmed the 4” back by the cab.

Not that they were actually suggested, but spacers on top of 3.5” backspace wheel would be a horrible ride because of the massive scrub radius. 3.5” puts you right exactly where I’m at in the photos.

I thought that might be the case, but I wasn't sure.

I'm running 4" fiberglass with my +2 kit and 315s on 9.5" wide, 4.5 BS wheels. I'm flush with the fenders.

I've seen @fatfurious2's truck before, but I'm not sure if I've seen it since he changed his wheel/tire setup.

I have some McNeils that are for a Tundra conversion that have Tacoma cab body lines that turn into 1st gen Tundra tail lights / body panel look with 8" extra length between where they meet the cab and the wheels. They're 8" bulge flat tops kind of like these ones but with a Tundra conversion.

Also another 1st gen for sale - whats with 4 of them all for sale at once!?

Will be trying to get rid of my McNeil standard bed bedsides. They’re the flat top and have been mounted. Excellent condition.

Putting this out there as a feeler.
