Just incase anyone wondered what it costs to basically change every wear item and do an engine refresh on a 300zx....

Not too bad considering your getting mostly name brand stuff. Wonder what labor would be if you had a shop do all that?

Yeah, i tried to stay with big brands if at all possible. I need to get it baselined so I know whats up before I start throwing boost at it and this all installed should make for a really nice daily in the meantime. If I had a shop do it, well then it wouldn't be worth it haha. Lots of hours of labor just in the engine portion not to mention the suspension. To put it in perspective though... the whole kit and kaboodle cost less than the rear shocks in the taco.

Yeah, I though that myself. I have a grand in my suspension alone. Is RockAuto ridiculous on shipping? Ive never bought from them and their cheap prices lead me to think they take advantage of people on shipping. For my cooling system refresh I wanna do in a few months, I could get everything I need at Oreillys for probably $20-30 more than Rockauto, but are shipping prices gonna level that out more?

The answer here is sometimes. RA houses their stuff all over the country wherever it is cheapest to have a warehouse so there are lot of potential locations for parts to ship from. If you aren't picky about brands you can make your shipping cheaper by getting items that are coming from the same warehouse to bundle the shipping (and RA will suggest those ways to cut your shipping), small orders or orders of tiny parts will kill you with shipping cause it is inefficient to ship just one PCV valve or fuel filter. But for all this stuff I'm ordering with me being picky about brands... it is coming from 9 warehouses and some parts are large (suspension and stuff)... all said and done it is $86.90 just in shipping costs. But that isn't unreasonable for all of these parts in 9 different loads.

All the 01-04 bucket seat consoles have a rear flip out pocket for holding all of the nothing that can possibly fit in it

It's where I store all the things I forget about, much like the pocket itself.

If you have a removable face stereo you could use the "Blue wire" auto antenna input to turn on a relay completing your circuit.
