With the 22" I had to do it over the course of the weekend. Of course I was 15 years younger then too. Now my knees can't even handle that.

    Sucks getting old.

4 hours does not seem that bad when you put it into perspective. So do you have a picture of Kubota? And have you ever had to you the 4x4 feature? Asking out of pure curiosity

*Edit 4wd = to AWD? Meaning no level to engage/disengage

I wanna paint my chrome grill black. Would like it to be a permanent paint.

Any suggestions for surface prep, primer and top coat.

    Goal is NOT this:

Isn't the chrome finish some cheap plastic coating? I think you'll have a hard time getting paint to stick to it. I think people use plasti dip and then the glossifyer to add some protection.

Yeah it’s a plastic chromy thing. I need to figure out if there’s a primer that will make a topcoat stick permanently. Not into the plasti dip thing

I for one liked the Red grille. OP went as far as to paint the little side grilles the same shade of red to match. We should bring back the Red and embrace diversity among the grille shell community. Where is this law that reads one can only do chrome or color matched grille shells? Nowhere! Bring back the Red and dare to be different OP!

Here you go Jaime. It is 4wd. Basically the front right and rear left tires are always engaged, then there is a foot lever to lock them all. I use 4wd for some of the steeper areas when it's wet.

These photos don't do the angles justice.

Good work on the Diff Breather Mod Roberto! You had me a little worried. You had been MIA for a couple of days. I tagged you in a thread asking for pictures of what else is in your garage so you could post the Kubota.

I "color matched" my grille and it's still holding strong. I sanded down the chrome (can't remember the grit), sprayed with adhesion promoter, and then used a 2-in-1 primer/paint, and some clear coat.

The red grille has been put to bed for good I'm afraid. Maybe if everyone does it at the same time.
