I want to switch out the USB/Aux port...

    I will never use the aux port that is attached with the USB dongle.

    If I can find another switch that has two USB ports, is it possible to do a straight swap.

    I.E. can I use the same aux wire to hook up another USB?

    It depends on what your objective is. At best I think you'd be able to get another USB port that provides power to a device, however, you wouldn't be able to use the existing aux cable for this. You'd have to tap something else for power. You definitely won't be able to get another USB connection to the stock head unit unless there is a second USB interface on the head unit that I'm not aware of.

    The built in USB port is only 0.5 amps, so it is really only usable as a data port. I have a USB drive with all my music on it.
    Easiest solution, just buy a 2.4 amp flush mount USB power adapter for the cigarette lighter port.
