Looks like tread depth and siping is the only difference between the 4s and LT. I might have to go with the 4S for snow purposes, and I don’t tow or off road that much.

@Discount Tire Direct did cooper discontinue the A/TW in favor of the 4S? I value winter performance over all else and the A/TW looks like it is a bit better design for that.

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, we cannot order the Cooper A/TW tires, they happen to be a private label.

If there is another tire you are interested in we would be happy to help.

Got the tires in today. Sadly I might be able to install them until next week. These things look great. I love the sidewall on them. 295/75 16 IMG_5415-1.jpgIMG_5416.jpg IMG_5417.jpg

Just ordered the AT3 LTs, 265/75/16. Impressive amount of tread (16.5/32) for a tire that should have pretty good road manners too. Got 5 of them for $650 from tirecrawler. I'll post some more pics/thoughts after they're installed.

You'll love them. I love mine more than the KO2’s I had. Quiet, smooth and amazing in wet conditions. I broke my KO2’s loose constantly on wet roads here. Especially when going uphill from a stop sign or stop light. It’s been raining for the last two weeks and I haven’t broken these Coopers loose yet. Very happy with my purchase.

That's great to hear. I still think the KO2s look & are a little more aggressive....but the key word "look". In all practicalities - especially weight and MPGs, I think the Coopers will be a strong win. Some people say, "you bought a truck, who the F cares what the mpgs are".....well, I do. Getting 22mpg vs 16mpg really adds up more than most think over time.

I agree, MPGs add up over time especially with how expensive fuel is in CA. With my 245/75r16 4S I’m averaging right around 19-20 MPG with mostly mountain highway driving and some driving in town. This is a 1-1.5 mpg improvement over my 265/75r16 A/T3’s so I’m happy.

I'm debating the 4S vs the C rated on my otherwise stock DCOR. I do a lot of commuting but want something suited to moderate rocky trails. I don't really need 4 season as I have nice snow tires for now.

Any pros/cons to help decide between the 2? Weight is like 4lbs heavier for the C rated.

Got the tires mounted today. Was going back and forth between white letters out or not. Glad I went with them out.

Not a problem. Going to be taking these tires out on the dirt this weekend. Hoping they will perform as good as they look
