ANYONE ROCKING FACTORY STEEL WHEELS?

I was looking around to getting some black rims for my truck and they cost about two to $300 each. Then I called the dealer and found out that the 17” steel wheels for the TRD sport are only 90 bucks each. Just wondering if anyone uses these as a cheap option to get that black rim look and also not care about scuffing them up at Cetera at Cetera let me know if you have them and post some pictures.

 

There have been a couple guys on here somewhere that used the Factory Spare as a way to get Black Steel Wheels.

A buddy of mine gave me the ex rims off his 2013 TRD, I had them sand blasted and powder coated matt black. total cost was $300

The steel silver sky metallic ones are on ebay for a steal.

With running boards, weathertech mudflaps and window vents it looks like this.

 

But think, for 300 bucks, you could have gotten 1 shiney new aftermarket rim! You’d need 3 more to match but remember, you would’ve been a 1/4 way there already!!

 

I'm way to cheap to buy some really nice aftermarket rims. If the steelies sell, my buddy gets all the money.

The guy at the sand blast and powder coat place said he had powder coated some steelies the week before for the same color taco.

Is your bumper black cause SR5? Or did u paint it? Thinking of doing some bed liner accents to go with the steelies.
