It's confirmed 100% not this year as there are dealer invoices already leaked.

As for would I buy one... I'd have to see it first. I wouldn't buy sight unseen.

For the record though, I'm on my second 2nd gen.

I'd probably find me an 80s model Toyota truck or a 80s model ford ranger.
The new Tacoma's seem to have too many issues.

Nah, I love my Tacoma. Sure it's got issues, frame rust (Nothing some TLC every month can't fix) and annoying vibrations when I'm going 131 KPH. Also, this, that, blah blah. Whatever, no vehicle is perfect. I love my truck. Maybe when the engine reaches 350,000 km I'll consider it. I've learned that trucks are a liability, not an investment. I keep dumping money into her so I might as well keep her for at least a few years.

Most likey wont buy a new tacoma for a long time. Even if something happens to my 2nd gen. If something happened to mine i would probably buy a 1st gen, and use the extra insurance money for mods.

I have a second generation Taco and do not currently need or want another. So no, no plans to do so.

I would wait. So all the promblems could be worked out. I know when the 2nd gens came out they had motor mount problems.

When I trade my Tacoma it will be for a Rubicon, or a 4 Runner Trail Edition. Or maybe another Tacoma. Who knows?

I will drive mine till it dies. After that......I'll for sure go full size, torn between F150 and the Tundra. I hate the new tundras though.

Probably not right away, as I just bought my Tacoma too. Need to keep it for about 4 years or so, to make sure I won't be upside down. Been on that boat and I didn't like it at all.

unless toyota has recently changed their internal schedule, it's currently slated for the 2012 model year.
