I am a new Tacoma owner with a 2018 TRD Sport. Bought it with 5 mi and now have 1249 mi, I’ve noticed while I am sitting in park the truck will bobble, engine will rev slowly just under 1k and hold for a sec or two. This continues every 5-10 seconds, would anyone have the simular situation?

is your AC on? if so, it's the AC compressor kicking on and it's completely normal.

Matter of fact it was on, turned it off and the RPM settled around 500. I appreciate the knowledge drop!

AC takes a few HP to run so computer idles it up a little to compensate. If you drive a v8 previously it’s just not as obvious

I still think there is an issue with the ECU programming (or motor mounts?) because that 'bobble/wobble' should not exist. It is a weird, out of sync, wobble that the engine does. Annoying AF to me. I have the 2GR-FE in a Highlander and it is dead smooth when the AC engages and disengages. I was wondering if the the folks that have OV Tune have the same issue?

Not that I've noticed. She's buttery smooth at 485 rpm. I could check tomorrow.
