I’ve wanted to put it back in for a long time, but I misplaced it. I just finally got around to making the phone call today to get another one.

Not sure if our trucks have the same problem, but mine only started doing it about 4 months ago. It’s not really a hesitation, as much as it seems like a flat spot if that makes sense.

Mash throttle > wait a sec > haul ass

Judging by the AFR gauges, it occurs precisely at the moment the AFR goes from 14.7 to when the UCON starts adding fuel.

I was thinking maybe the bypass valve moves so quick and in comes a rush of boost and it happens so fast that the UCON isn’t able to respond in time. Or maybe the UCON can handle it, but the tune isn’t set up to compensate.

    Should I be concerned?

Might want to check throttle input circuitry.

Fuel may be something to check as well.

If you are capable of performing a datalog, I would do that and let it RIP multiple times through the log.

    Add more dirt.

    :D

Just kidding. Your snout seal may be leaking a little. I would clean the blower in the front and track it.

So had the truck in at Toyota today because the horn hasn't worked for almost a year and I suspected it was the clock spring after checking the fuse and relay.
At the same time they also checked the grease on the nose of the S/C (to be honest I was surprised they even offered to look at it)

Anyway. They say its grease from the pulley bearing. To my knowledge there isn't a bearing in the pulley itself since its pressed on.
I'm already going to do with what you guys already said and am just clean it up and monitor.

That is a press on pulley. Lol that suggestion of theirs really just made me laugh.

My clock spring has been bad for about a year or two as well. I miss having a horn myself.

Yeah they wanted 900+ to replace it.

In nicer words I told them to go fuck themselves and I will do it myself.
Driving in LA w/o a horn is frustrating to say the least and mine has been back for about a year as well.

Good old stealership. Screw that.. Same here in the bay area. It is so annoying. I've been contemplating bypassing the horn because our clock springs are known junk, but I like OE performance at the same time, so i choose to do nothing further about it. Lmao.

This sounds like what mine used to do before i removed my bypass restrictor jet. Went away after i took it out..

Mine was more like a hesitation though. It would jerk pretty hard and then take off

    Could be.

Patiently waiting for @OVTune to fulfill my wish list:

    2.5 pulley base tune
Injector scaling to run 61lb injectors
    Disable catalyst monitoring
    Disable secondary air injection stuff

Yeah I feel like it’s always a wait game. I like trd tune and I’m done. If I want more power it’s getting a different motor.
