    Hate all you want on country. I listen to most genres. I grew up listening to punk rock and alternative from my dad and country from my mom. I find a lot of relatable things and sometimes meaningful things in country music, getting harder these days to find it, but occasionally I do

    Alt Country is basically the old country classic style and outlaw country styles in modern form. None of the pop country crap with Aussies and models.

    I'm hit or miss on country--I rarely listen to it.

    I'm on a Dave Matthews kick lately. I mostly like he and Tim Reynolds' acoustic albums separate from the band. I only liked the band's earlier albums like Crash or Under the Table and Dreaming but I listened to their new album and enjoyed it a lot. It's similar to their older stuff.

    They were cheap, 15 each to mount and balance. I'm going to leave them on CL for this week see if someone bites and i can make a profit since they are mounted now otherwise they'll go on this weekend

    I've been to more country concerts than I care to admit. I echo the sentiment about the shows. The sad thing is that pop / rock music has gotten so terrible that country is at least music performed by real people, not auto-tuned computer junk. I mean, I have my techno/trance moments, but still. Rock music has been dead for awhile now, for me at least. I've been listening to more 80's infused modern music, which is interesting. If I hear Imagine Dragons or Twenty One Pilots again...

    I was a big pop punk / emo / screamo guy in the late 90's and early-2000's. The shame is most of those bands released one or two albums that were really good and then released a few steaming piles of poo.

    The problem for me at least is where to actually find new music. I don't have time to chew through YouTube, there is no rock radio left, XM doesn't really have anything decent.
