Anyone have ghosts in their homes/place of work?
I do. Every now and then I will hear a door open and close or someone walking around when I know as a fact Im the only one here. When I go look, nothing.
Half an hour ago, I was watching TV and heard footsteps on the wood floor and then the motion light in the stairwell to the basement turned on.
Cleared the basement, the deadbolts were locked and window screens all in place. So, no one (physical presence) has been here other than me.
Anyone else have experiences they wish to share?

Back in the late 80's and in San Diego a friend of mine owned an old Victorian house that was haunted . I've been at this house a few times and after midnight in the kitchen you start hearing cabinets opening then slamming shut . You will also hear silverware and utensils being thrown on the ground

But what was weird was you would see all the drinking glasses moved from the cabinets and then stacked neatly on the counter

It was so disturbing to wake up in the morning walk into the kitchen and see the kitchen in disarray

Camp Smith on Hawaii was used to cremate the dead bodies of the fallen from the Pearl Harbor attacks. The main building were the furnaces were also is intel building and the marine corps commanding officer of the pacific. So one night we were doing lock checks inside the building and we kept hearing footsteps like from dress shoes. We kept looking for it then the generals elevator opened and no one was there. The crazy thing was you need a key to operate it. Never had more chicken skin in my life. Heard stories about that place and never believed it till that night.

I've heard about this from other Marines when I was at MCAS El Toro in the early 80's

Yep in my last house. I could sit on the couch and see down the hall. About once a month id see something move at the end of the hall. Never bothered me or broke anything so i just let it be. It did freak out the kids tho. The old people that were the original owners both died there (of old age stuff).

Our daughter's kid toys would start playing music at random times as though someone was hitting the buttons. We jokingly figured it was a ghost cat from the previous owners, they had a lot of cats prior to them selling the house and moving to Tenessee.

Fast forward a few years and I ran across this article

    https://www.nashvillescene.com/news...-cats-are-divine-beings-ended-up-in-tennessee

So turns out we bought our house from a cat cult member, and we probably do have ghost cats. We don't mind, they don't shed or leave hairballs to clean up.

Old base dormitories in Texas had some weird stuff. Myself and another friend were over at a friends BSing and he was on his bed, and I was by the window and the other friend was by the wall. Light switches for the room and sink were across from us. all of a sudden all of the lights flip to the off position. Not a power outage as we had to flip the lights back on! needless to say we left there in a hurry. Other short stories another friend would hear his name being called through the radio in his dorm room, when the radio was off. It would also flip on and the volume turn on by itself.

I dont remember if I posted this in TW forum or not but here it is again. Somewhere around 2004 or 2005 I dont remember the year exactly. But a Friend from work had to go out of town for a couple days and they asked me to feed/water/let their dogs out. It was about 15minute drive from my house to theirs. It was evening and I went over there and fed/watered/let the dogs out and came straight back, I was gone maybe a total of 45minutes. I get to my house and I hear music blaring. I think no big deal as there is a expo center down the road not far and you usually can hear the music from there or neighbors partying whatever. So I get to my door and open it and its my stereo!! WTH its blaring full blast! I was single no roommates at the time and no one else had the key to my house! I go inside and turn off the stereo and do a sweep of the house. No broke windows/no unlocked doors etc....I also had some mail from that day or a couple days ago sitting on top of one my speakers and it was strewn across my living room! Not like it just had fallen off because of the music. It was literally 10-12ft away from where it was sitting! I cant recall anything else ever happening, before or after this....just weird.

Hearing someone walk around, or even hearing doors open and close arent really unusual. However, having the motion sensor light turn on has me thinking that I need to get a Ouiji (sp?) board. Not sure who died here other than a dog that some jackass buried in a well sealed garbage bag that never leaked until a shovel found it.
