    2 weeks ago picked up the Taco with new Maxxis Bighorns and GTS (made by Dobinson) lift from Main Line Overland .

    Over the weekend I installed rear diff, fuel tank and trans skids from RCI

    For only a couple hundred more you could get a one of the 5100 kits from headstrong, get a small lift and a better ride than what these will probably give you. Also the 5100 kits are tried and true here on tacomaworld and seems like a lot of people think the ride is better than stock.

    The one thing I have learned with aftermarket suspensions is never go cheap. They either wear out fast, become noisy as fuck, or they ride like shit.

    I'm sure there is more capable people then me at doing this. I'm no metal fabrication guy my bro did most of the work. But still after doing it the TW thugs have to bad mouth it.

    I actually put four coats of clear on them because I liked the raw metal look. Depends how well the clear holds up.
