nah because whoever they bring in they'd have sign a contract that say wear an earpiece that Saban speaks to you through and you have to do everything he says.

With those stipulations... I may be able to get a 10 win season as coach... Saban would kill me, but I'd have 10 wins

The Cowboys RB, Ezekiel Elliot, is an Ohio guy. They won the National Championship/CFP in his last year there. Saquon Barkley, also a RB, is a Penn State alum that is a rookie on the NY Giants this year.

He's only like 2.5 million behind Saban currently and lives in no ones shadow but his own

Because at this point, it doesn’t matter who has played whom. We’re 3 games into the season. Win, and you’re in. Pretty simple.

Do I wish we had tougher OOC games? Sure. I don’t make the schedule, though. Schedules are made years in advance, and success usually breeds more, tougher OOC games because everyone wants a shot. Bama in recent years has played USC, FSU, and play USC again soon and Miami.

We’ve got the game against ND at home, plus open the season with Virginia, Oregon, and Clemson over the next few years. Bigger names than Austin Peay. Still won’t be big enough for some. People will always complain about schedules, but it’s simple: win, and you’re in.

I agree, you're absolutely right. I just find it laughable that some get tons of credit playing cupcakes and some get nothing beating top 10 teams.

you are correct, but I believe the NFL has more SEC players than any other conference. If I'm not mistaken LSU and Alabama still sit at the top of most active NFL players.

In reality these early games....if you win you want those you beat to keep winning after

Need those wins to age well too

This. I don’t think clemson’s Near miss against aTm is going to look nearly as impressive at the end of the year. I could be wrong

Actually, I don’t give auburn a lot of credit for beating Washington. I just don’t think Washington is that good.

arguably LSU isn't. their FPI is still awful at 17th, and they are still predicted to lose to Georgia, MSU, Alabama, and A&M. Florida is only a 51.9% chance to win. Alabama is a 15.2% chance to win. I know these are numbers that DO NOT MATTER, but why do these teams get SO MUCH CREDIT for playing nobody at this point?

They’ll lose to Bama and auburn. Unless they keep it close in those, a close win over a 3 loss team won’t look good.

    EDIT:

    Oh And maybe LSU

You’re right. Starting the season ranked 25, and being in 6th after 3 games, they’re obviously not getting much credit...

I dont see how you can put Oklahoma and Ohio state over LSU at this point with the 3 games played so far. But starting so low and them so high has so much to do.l with it The higher you start preseason shouldn't mean you stay there until you lose.
