I like having the interface. With that said, I expect them to clean it up if said items will not be supported in the flash. Would be better if they just supported Apple Car Play & Android Auto...
I had no intention of using the Navigation as I have relied on Scout & in recent years Waze, yet found the onboard Navigation to be better than Waze at picking routes and pleasantly surprised.

Really? Are you clearing your cache on the phone? I go weeks with no issue, seems to be tied with clearing my cache. (I know browser/APP two diff things yet seems to be tied)

    Nope

And why "weeks with no issue"?

Shouldn't it be "I log in once, and never have to mess with it again"? That's how every other app on my phone works.

There was an update back in May that cleared up a lot of issues. Maybe the update from Toyota will be "Optional" as in if you never hit update, it'll never update and rid you of a great Pandora app. Who the hell wants to risk their life to control an app from their phone. If you do this, you are a part of the distracted driving problem that slows me down on a daily basis!

They should just turn over their infotainment department to Ford and their Sync 3 system...

"weeks with no issues"? = Until I had cleared my cache & recently a new phone. Otherwise no issues staying logged in, other APPS will behave likewise.

I have no pity on those who continue to choose a locked down piece of shit phone that is iPhone

iPhone 8 and far less issues than Android...I work in Digital and find the iPhone far more stable (Not a fanboy at all) though iPhone bashing is humorous as I support both for our Pharmacy products.

Interesting. I have an 8S. When I start the truck, I get the notice that the app needs permission to connect to the truck. I swipe or tap the notification (depending if I'm locked or unlocked), and it takes me to the login page. I login, and it "sticks" for a couple of days, but then it's back to square one.

I am on a corporate phone with heavy security, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Same phone & same message...I just ignore it and it connects just fine. I elected to use Airwatch on my personal phone and receive partial funding towards my bill instead of having a full company phone locked down.

This is disappointing. The Pandora interface is the only good thing they have with Entune.

I don't know. At least the Toyota picks up where it left off with my bluetooth streaming each time I return. Every time I turn my Ford on, I have to manually tell it to go to bluetooth streaming.

Would love Apple CarPlay. I don’t really care about any of the apps as long as the Weather app doesn’t go anywhere.

I'm just surprised about the amount of people here who still use pandora lol.
I couldn't care less about that update removing stuff...more interested if it updates for better performance/adds anything new.

    Stock.
I'm cool with this. Haven't used the Pandora app in months. Mainly since the display would stop showing what song was playing after skipping few tracks and it freezing whenever i would plug in/unplug my phone from the USB. Amazon Music is where its at for me. Plus you can still use the skip track buttons on the wheel and display with it.

They're probably ditching it because come on, who really uses Pandora anymore?

I agree...it's very seemeless from call transition to holding a song in pause while you run into a store with the engine off.
