Impressive that you actually got that wrapped. Most attempts that I've seen have crinkled.

When you use the remote start does your taco shut off when you get in the truck? I heard that was an issue with these remote starts.

Yes, that is a limitation of the truck not the remote starter. Of course it would be nice to stay running but it's likely a safety issue. The bottom line is interior will be warm/cool when you get in which is the entire point. You also have the ability to lock/unlock the truck remotely from anywhere which can come in handy.

Not an issue, its a safety, anti theft function of Toyota.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Mounted this just a moment ago for recovery gear and anything I can stuff in it. Fits end to end on the Prinsu cab rack. Also, I used thumb screws to mount, so it comes off without a wrench.
Nice thing is it’s low profile enough to go in parking decks and garages.

Pros: Cheaper price than a Pelican 1750, Stronger than a Plano.
Cons: More expensive than a Plano.

I have 12solutions with cell/GPS in both Toyotas' and love it. 12solution also has the best price I could find on cell service contract.

12solution uses your factory fob or smart phone, no second fob like some remote systems.

Hey there! I've been thinking about doing the same. The issue I seem to notice the most is the lag between going from park to drive to when the truck decides to kick into gear. Has there been a noticeable difference since you've done it?

Has for me, only put 200 miles since TSB but it feels better. Still going 5.29 with 33-34" tires.

I'm looking to order a similar kit this week. Any particular reason why you decided to go with the 5160's with the reservoir for the rear? Also, how difficult was the AAL?
