Probably asked multiple times but my search foo turned up nothing

adding the shocks alone, no coils or leafs, will it raise/lift the truck at all?

Coils and leafs add lift not shocks.

Even adding the coils didn't lift the front of my sr5

The only lift with third gen coils is on second gen trucks.

Yup, only the Pro suspension will give any lift. All other models sit the exact same height, OffRoad, Sport, SR5 etc...

Yeah they wouldn’t. We’re all the same height other than the pro. I was making a generalization about lifting a vehicle. The only thing that changes if replacing the sr5 suspension with OR or Sport suspension is the ride changes.

Only reason why your sr5 may appear lower than the trd trucks is because the sr5 has those small 245/75 tires.

Same size overall I thought? Rim size changes between trims and tire changes proportionately?

Aftermarket shocks will likely be better anyway.

I just searched the Firestone LE2 of the SR5 vs the Goodyears of the TRD and the difference is 30.5 vs 30.6. For some reason I remember it being a slightly larger difference.
