75w-85w Front/Rear Differential Gear Oil?

    CHEVERLY my service dog! Lol
    I've a 2014 Tacoma 4x4 Limited. I'm changing the front/rear and transfer case oils. Handbook and dealership says 75w-85w GL-5 gear oil. I can't locate this anywhere on the planet. I can find 75-90, but 75-85.. no where. The dealership wont sell it to me. Thoughts?

    I took my '14 to the local NAPA shop...had them do it

    used synthetic Valvoline 85-90w in all 4 gear boxes

    Also a lot of people run dinosaur oil and not synthetic in the diffs. A school of thought says Dino oil is better in diffs.

    It's not better it's cheaper and you're not gonna see a benefit from going synthetic in the diffs! So anything but Dino is a waste of money.

    I do 80w90 in front and t-case and 85w140 in the rear because I tow and off-road!

    Whatever you do don't get that overpriced watery redline crap.

    Thanks. Yeah, I've done this on my previous Jeep wrangler, just been a few years. PB blasting every nut and bolt before hand. Thanks for all the good advice.

    Was just going to say Redline, you can use 75W90. The 75W85 is for CAFE fuel economy standards.
