When you turn the truck off it will show the trip average. It will stay on the screen until you open your door.

They drove mine for two miles. Did an oil change and a few other small things and had it about 3 hours once they called me that it was ready.

20K oil change, turned off the seat belt chime and "inspected" my battery that leaked and corroded my battery clamp down. I had cleaned it up good so they said it wasnt bad enough to do anything. I'm gonna get an agm battery anyways so that fine I guess.

Ok, Jones Junction in Bel Air, Md hooked it up! I used Car Scanner to check before I left and I have Cal ID# 0400 from the latest TSB. Tomorrow I'll take a pic of the sticker they put under the hood. Filled up the tank on the way home so I'll be able reall judge the results better.

It did feel better on the way home. I'm happy.

I've been following this thread for quite a while. I finally been able to clear out my schedule and make an appointment for this Friday at the dealership I bought my truck from. They didn't seem to know much about the TSB, but said as long as Toyota covers it they'll do it. We'll see what they say when I get there.

A while ago I had asked if this seem to be reverting back to its old habits after so many miles. Most seem to say it did not, but in the last few pages people say it is. Getting me kind of nervous ,hoping this takes care of the minimal issues I have

Its worth getting it done regardless, as the overall experience is improved. That being said, mine has definitely reverted back to majority of its old ways after almost 6,000 KMs.

I took my 2018 in today, Florida, dealer did 0058-18, said it was same file. BIG difference. No more "dropoff" when changings gears. Holds gears longer, like ECT, but, without lag. Much better IMO.

See how long it lasts tho... my experience is that once the transmission gets some miles on it then it gets crappy again

I've got 2k miles on the tsb. I'm gonna unplug the battery for 30 mins and see if it resets to how it was right after getting the tsb. Will let you guys know how it goes.

    Please do!

I almost wonder if it would be worth getting a techstream cable and just reinstall the TSB each time it gets funky

A buddy took his '18 SR5 in and they tried to give him the run around about the TSB. Why do dealers try so hard not to do them?

How MANY miles Jim? I had mine done at around 300 miles and I now have 2,500 miles and it has stuck no issues.
