Therein lies the problem, the TSB is marked as Automatic Transmission only.

Post 1828... but @shakerhood is right, the wording makes it difficult to argue

And why so many have just done it themselves

Not a misprint, the TSB only lists Automatic in the title.

I would atleast check your MT fluid level by yourself and check your clutch free play. The pushrod that almost touches the pedalpedal pushes should have 1-5mm of space between it and the pedal.

Also, I found that if you move the shifter quickly into the next gear, you can reduce how notchy you are. I'm not talking power shifting. Just as soon as you clutch and the RPMs start falling just get the shifter into the next slot quickly and smoothly and apply gentle pressure. If you let the RPMs fall too much then your synchros have to do more work and make more noise.

It is an TSB for Automatics with a Manual update burried deep inside, the Dealers don't seem to read far enough into the TSB to find it.

I'll let the foreman know this and show him the pics the op provided. The dealership needs too know this information, if they send me on my way again Corp is in my speed dial. I'll gladly talk to Penny again on the phone..Best customer service rep at Toyota. Ask for Penny if you have any Toyota claim issues

The TSB info flier says its for Automatic transmissions only. But the actual ECU update files listed in the .pdf have an ECU file for the 6MT, it's just not advertised in the TSB Info header.

I adjusted mine in both directions, pedal just felt more or less tight depending which way rod is turned.
Does not seem to have impact on the clutch releasing any more or less.

Way ahead of you, MT fluid levels are good, the pushrod gap is good. We will see what the dealer says this time. I'm leaning towards faulty master cylinder or the clutch assembly for the tsb.

Great technician, he sat down with me and thoroughly explained in detail *offtopic* why the rear diff leaks and how he think it could be solved and again with and why it makes noise. Toyota is a great company they offered me a 100k warranty after the 4th leak. Work with Corp they make the trucks, they want you to be happy with the trucks we bought.
