It wasnt the interstate laws that screwed me. I only moved an hr away from where I was. It's a long story but there was damage done to my stuff, my house that was closing in a week, and to my new apt and that's just the tip of the iceberg. It was a complete fiasco. Never again will I do business with any company that is a franchise of United van lines.

Anyone fellow SC people in here know much about clock springs? My cruise control stopped working, intermittently at first, then finally quit for good (which makes me think it wasn't a fuse problem but i checked them anyway).

Went to the dealership across the street from my office to ask some general questions. Was told that if my clock spring is bad, my air bag light would be on - which it isn't. I've double checked and/or replaced everything (to my knowledge) related to the cruise control, aside from the clock spring and the cruise control module (actuator?).

Could the culprit for my failed CC be the clock spring despite my air bag light not being on?

The kind who doesn't want to spend $100 (or more) each way for bringing the board and take a high risk of the airline breaking the board resulting in having to buy another new board ($700). If I had gone by myself with the purpose to surf I would have, but this was more of a relaxing day-by-day vacation. I did surf once in Hawaii though with my friends boyfriend while on base. Was super fun, even though the board I used was way too small for me. Still a great time

I was going to rent if I really wanted to, it's only 20 bucks a day from a surf shop I used to go to. My girlfriend is just learning to surf and I wouldn't have been comfortable having her out trying to surf a hard top board in Hawaiian waters. She's a good swimmer and all, but the water in Hawaii is a completely different game than the waters here in California, and she's not very familiar with how to handle a surfboard well enough. And I also didn't want to go out and surf for 3 hours and just leave her on her own. So I surfed one day while we were with my friend and her boyfriend. My friend and my girlfriend hung on the beach while me and him went and surfed, I just used one of his boards.

Which one did you watch. The Brownells ones are excellent and go into a lot of accurizing them. They also break it down into sections.
