First thing I would do in a case like this is check the fuses, if OK then check for Power to the start relay and just for Fun of it I would press the clutch cancel switch (with power on) also did the Ex cut the wires or leave everything going into the plug? that would be best case.

haha. He's sitting in someone else's truck on their driveway with all the wiring sliced up, posting for help to steal the pickup before the owner comes out front.

Is someone trying to get our help stealing a truck? Or starting one that's already stolen?

Any moderators wanna divulge OP's IP address? Maybe we should see if they're even in Mojave.

I'm surprised nobody though it was stolen after the first post... I've met a lot of fools but none dumb enough to cut an ignition mount while they're tinkering...that dude must've been in some kind of rush.

Could be a methhead chick too...i would say post a pic of the VIN with a note (in pic) containing some jargon like tacomaworld.com, plus her username. Surely there is a cop that can run it...and it wouldn't be illegal, legitimate purpose to determine if criminal activity has occurred.

Even if it is a thief it sounds like the worst thing we have to worry about is attempted theft and vandalism. It sounds like this bloke is going to do more harm to the electrical system than anything else.

Hopefully this bloke didn't get it going and the owner can recover their property.

Sounded very hinky from the beginning to me, but I was late to the party.

    Not familiar with that one.
Another good one was the military guy claiming he was in such and such unit that may or may not have existed. Someone called him out on his unit that was either in it or very familiar with it.

He dug a bit farther and found out the guy was involved in an inside job and robbed a security truck carrying money that he worked for.
