Timberlodge was awesome. I had a beer at their lodge. I can’t wait to see it with snow all over

 

I’m looking at homes in sandy Oregon right now my wife still works so she needs to be closer to Portland so I can’t live in the mountains yet.

 

Damn dude! Damage looks minor, everything still good? I saw a guy almost get run over on his harley today on base. Some dumbass jumped out of the turn only lane at the last second and didn't check his mirror.

 

Yep! I've been there when it was covered. We were on the third floor I think, and you open the window to a wall of snow, dig out a little cave and put beer and ice cream in there and they have a couple runs that was lit up so you can ski/snowboard at night.

 

Never tried to ski or snowboard but that sounds awesome. I just don’t want to sonny bono myself

Just saying I work in portland and live in sandy.... Not that bad honestly

 

This is what I’m looking for, awesome. I am heading back in the spring to look at two areas I have narrowed it down to. Sandy and Troutdale. I liked both but sandy I liked a little more. Regardless it’s going to be a big change. How long is your daily drive to work?

 

I work in downtown Portland and it takes me about 45 to get to work but I also leave at 5:30am. Coming home I leave work at 4:15 and its never less then 55 mins

 

Awesome it takes my wife about that time now and sitting in traffic is terrible here

 

She will sit in traffic here also depending on her route and time of departure. its just how you deal with it really...

That’s nothing. Takes me 1-1.5hr to go 15 miles every morning. Trade you

 

Im Honestly not complaining.. but if I were to leave later say around normal commute times it would probably be close to your time frame for sure..

 

I’m complaining I have 40 days left here and traffic has been miserable lately. Ready to get off AD and get off the grid for a minute.

 

30 miles in an hour isn’t bad at all. It takes my wife over an hour to go 15 miles and on the way home it can take an hour an a half. I was in Portland rush hour traffic it wasn’t too bad. It use to take us 20 mins to go from my hour to the top of hour hill to the highway which was 1.1miles away.

I’m in Hawaii. Moving back to just south of Pittsburgh.
