I used mother's nulens on my headlights which is a wet sand and polish and it looked great. Put some clear bra on them hoping that they don't yellow after awhile.

Used one of the restoration kits about 1.5 years ago and mine are starting to look bad again. Talked to my buddy at a detail shop and he said to take your pic of restoration kits and when you're done, spray it with clear coat and it'll last 2-3 times as long.

Ok maybe I'll start off with some rubbing compound and see if that clears them up. If not I'll go with one of those headlight kits thanks fellas.

Wife uses insect spray like OFF with DEET. It works really good and is cheap, downside is only lasts maybe 5 months before need to do it again.

Yes. Buy the 3m headlight kit. Attach to power drill. 4 stages. Just did my sons. Tape it off well or just remove the headlight.

If your looking for a $500-600 price range and a hard tail I’d suggest lookin g at the trek marlin’s like @genequit got recently. You can also hit up a local shop and see if they have any closeout deals, I know performance bikes have a lot of shops around and have a lot of in store sales that aren’t online for there bikes.

If I can come across a decently priced full suspension bike on CL I might make an offer. What do you think of this? https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/bik/d/santa-cruz-blur-lt-mountain/6688085282.html

I can also upgrade to some new parts if they are out dated, no rush just looking for a decent bike

Like @Enjoihavok said  I love my Marlin 5. It has enough clearance for wider tires as well. Only other upgrades I'm planning on in the near future is probably two more smaller rear sprockets for inclines and lighter forks aside from the wheels. Rode with some pretty veteran riders at the whitetanks last weekend and that shit was hella fun (and tiring lol).
