I’m 79% in! I just need to confirm with the wife.... I should know by Friday when I give her a bottle of wine. Once she’s 3 or 4 drinks in I’ll give her the guilt trip of going to Hawaii and leaving me behind to deal with my daughter on her first day of school...

    Muhahahahahaha.

Yeah, October could be 70, could be freezing. We might need a lot of firewood:bananadead:

Camping and driving some back roads in Nicolet forest between Lakewood,Wisconsin and Crivitz,Wisconsin
    October 12-14

If anyone has trouble seeing the location, let me know. Also, this spot will probably be great for a smaller group, but if many people decide to join, we might have to find a bigger spot. It looked like there might be room for 5-6 tents maybe

Never been there, but would be down to get a bite there maybe after hitting the trails. That looks like it's about 10 minutes from the pipeline.

Out of curiosity, does anyone who's coming along have much off road experience? Any recovery equipment? There's a water crossing I'd like to get past to check out the rest of the pipeline, but I don't want to be the dipshit that gets stuck with no way to get out.

I'm planning on picking up some strap and a come-along as that's about all that's in my budget right now. But I would feel better if someone who knows what they're doing is around:oops:

Awesome! I'm hoping to get the truck dialed in over the next year or two, but it's stock for now. I'll say that I was pretty impressed with it last Friday. I've had a love/hate relationship with this truck, but the more I drive it, the more I love it!

And yes, I'll have to figure out a way to check the depth. Plus I have not yet relocated my rear diff breather, so I shouldn't go through anything deep anyway

I don't think there's many trails up that way that your stock truck can't get through

True. I think they're pretty tame compared to most real trails. Plus this truck has so many great features. The only thing that really limits it is ground clearance and tires
