Was excited to receive the ovtune for my taco and got it about a month back. I sent ovsupport my registration information at the beginning of September and I'm still waiting on the codes.

a few weeks back I did get an email from Matt who told me they would send the keys when his developer got back to him, two weeks later still no word,
Does anyone know If they are having some kinda production or software issue that could be causing this delay?

    Thanks

I imagine Mat had to completely rewrite most of the tune (except fuel and ignition tables) when this TSB got released. Sounds like a lot of work!

Hurricane weather seems to have died down, we did get tons of rain but not as bad as it was expected to be.

Did you send it to support@ovtune.zendesk.com? Or were you the person with the issue of the emails that were going missing? Ready to help please pm me your info

1.05 is having about 90% of the tune completely rewritten, axis tables manually adjusted, the whole works. (no it's not done, I will let everyone know when it is)

@OVTune I am glad you fared well through the storm. I purchased 02/18, installed 03/18. I am far from tech-savvy, far, far...How do I update when the 1.05 is released. I am pleased with the older version I have enough that I have kept the truck this long but still crave more power! So how do I update to the latest? I will wait until 1.05 is dropped. Thanks for all you have done in not making us 3rd gen miserable with this engine!!

Just go ahead and do a "read" on your ECU/TCU from PCMFlash if that's what you're using then you can easily roll back any time

Fairly sure we'll all need an LSD to put turbo power down... we can one wheel peel now!

After installing most of the tunes that came out from 1.02 and on i have to say I firmly believe this truck really is designed to run on 91 octane or higher. Living in a hilly state there is a night and day difference between 87 and 91 for me. Even on tsb or matt’s tune it doesnt matter. Truck is soo much smoother and less pedal effort to climb hills, etc etc. i tried to run 87 to keep gas cost down as i dont drive the truck hard but its really painful driving to work and back on 87.

Seems like we’ve got some time before 105 is available. Anybody in the Long Beach CA area that can get me on the latest from Toyota so I can move on to 104r while we wait for 105?

Just flashed 1.04R.. it's smooth! the downshifts on braking aren't noticeable which gives much more confidence on the brakes coming up to a row of cars

Been trying to tell folks... 1.04R is where it's at. If 1.05 never came out, I could be happy...

I agree. I'm on 87 tune now with 85 gas. Going to fill up with 91 and see how she does.

I didn’t mean to rush Matt. If fact, I prefer that he take the needed time to come up with something that he is pleased by. In the mean time, I’d like to try out 104r. Any takers?? Come on, I’ll throw in beer and pizza... don’t make me beg!!
