I just want to first say that this is pretty awesome that y'all are doing this. Secondly, outstanding customer service as before posting this in here, they actually called me directly to make sure it would be ok with me to post this in this thread first. So I appreciate them doing that for sure!

I did not have sliders on order from Pelfrey, but hopefully some people are able to take advantage of this!

Has anyone had any issues with Chase on getting a refund? They told me that they looked into it and said that they decided it didn't require correction and removed the temporary credit. Thoughts?

Please give more detail, was your transaction Credit/Debit Card or ACH?? What was the literal explanation 'word for word' if you can duplicate it and write it? Did they ask you to file any paperwork or sign any formal dispute document?

I will need to know more of the details of your transaction and their responses to give some insight and advice.

I paid ACH, I also sent you a PM about it I’m pretty sure. The doc is below.

I called them after seeing the letter today and they said it was because it was outside of the 120 day window.

This amount was for my deposit in January, and they also sent another document about my other disputes where they had me fill out a thing saying it was an unauthorized use of my account. So far that other stuff hasn’t been denied.

I got a refund via AMEX (filed dispute Sept. 2nd) PENDING untilNov. 27th. That is the last day the "merchant" has to dispute the charge back and provide supporting Information on the charge.

This makes no sense since AMEX from what I understand is the "merchant".

Any of you CC savy people want to to chime in on this or anyone else get something similar from AMEX?

    The merchant is Pelfreybilt.

    AmEx is the processor.

Ok so update on this, the photo of the letter is above. I went to Chase and spoke with them there. They literally called the same number I would have to call and then handed me the phone. They cannot do anything at the branch level.

Here's what they said. They told me that I had 120 days to file the claim. Let me back track, this is the transaction that was done with my Visa Debit card I got it mixed up with the others. The other two are ACH. Ok so this Visa Debit card transaction was out of the range for filing a claim since it was over 120 days, but I mentioned that with Visa when the delivery date changes so does the 120 days each time they move the delivery date. Then they said that Chase has a 120 day rule. Is that true? And can I also ask for Regulation E on this as well?

Not a private account, btw. I’m blocked.

    Well this is interesting.

Where did you get the information that they’re in Dallas?

Edit: Find me an address, and I’ll go take photos.

Mostly because Seans a smart guy, and hustles. He works hard. HE's got a solid following and pushes content out well.

Seans a marketing guy from Arizona, he's worked for an agency and himself to build brand content. He's good at this market and outdoor gun type stuff. He ran the IG page for pelfrey for a few years.

Literally, raise hell on the phone and demand to speak to the head of the dispute department or their manager, or someone that isn't regurgitating or following a script. Simply put, it is as if they are not listening to you and hearing F U T U R E D E L I V E R Y :annoyed: because sure, 120 days is the time limit if payment was made and you received product immediately. Refer to the beginning of this thread and post https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...condensed-version.567463/page-3#post-18677815 and download the Visa pdf in the document section of post #2. Its Visa, so you have 120 days from the last promised delivery date not to exceed 540 days from the Original Transaction Date B E C A U S E the transaction was a deposit or payment for a future delivery. The ASSHAT on the other end of the phone is totally wrong.

And tell them, you have the Visa rules right in front of you, and only say this to a higher up who knows that once you bust that out, its his job on the line because if he doesn't know that, then he shouldn't be working in the dispute department.

Keep calling, keep going up the chain.. until you talk to someone better then this....
