Pickup would be a hell of a lot cheaper. But damn 40's are cool

It's got a good spot of rust on the bed but yeah doesn't seem like a bad deal. There are some nice "classic" ones on CL right now. I don't think people around here are very interested in stock ones

Least you know what's in it. I've seen a guy from work took his truck into a shop charged him $4k. For a lift kit and bigger tires. They jipped him bad. Put lft block on the truck and same tires he had originally. And when I was there with him to pick his truck up. I asked the mechanic what all they did as I crawled under it. Took me 30 seconds of looking to realize that he's getting robbed

I'd like to be a build instead of buy guy completely. But when it comes to something like an old actually built wheeler, for one, I don't have the fab skill to SAS a truck or do something like that, and for two, it's hard when you could buy the truck stock for 5k, or 5k, for a sas'd truck, with lockers, OG longs, gears, duals, winch, armor, a lot of times a motor swap, blah blah blah. I'd have a hard time with that.
Eventually I want to build a truck from the ground up, but I don't have the money or skills now. Excuses I know haha
