Not excuses, more like lack of knowledge and funds or equipment. Lol

 

Yeah, only reason I say excuse is because the only way to really get that knowledge is to buy a project truck and a welder and do it and learn haha

 

I need to finish my garage lol my walls are tarps. I got power but that's for lights from an extension cord

Mine is better it has a 4 door cab. But I'm looking at a custom shorten bed so I can fit 2 spares behind the cab. Right now I got the first coat of paint on it. Just used a rubberized undercoat. Took almost 2 gallons for frame and cab. Need to put a second layer on it then i'll be doing the classic olive olab green.

 

Would one of the trailers work for bed or is that too long?

 

One like the m101 would needs to be a little wider but that's what I'm doing lol adding 6 inches in width and reinforcing the shit out of it to hold weight. Truck already paid for itself after a massive storm. Winches are awesome lol was able to move 20' sections of 4' wide Ash trees with the 6x6 and winch

Wish there was a way to make it drive more comfortable though. Going down pavement ain't bad but dirt roads is a bitch lol. I don't want air ride to many things to go wrong and it makes it more complicated to fix.

 

Don't they have like a 20 ton PTO winch or something? Does it have suspension seats like a semi? That would be a fairly easy way to make it better

 

From the 1970's lol mine doesn't have those seats lol. But I can mod that. But yea winches are 20k I put synthetic line which was alot but I feel safer with it.
