    I think the Fumoto Valve in conjunction with a short piece of hose is a great idea for our kind of filter change. Sure looks to be a much easier and cleaner way to swap out that paper element. The spin off filter arrangement is one of the things I really miss from my 2nd gen.
    The wingnut that designed that pseudo skid that you had to remove when doing an oil change needs to find another line of work! :facepalm:

    Total agreement.

    I simply don't understand the whole arrangement.

    Could've been so much more user friendly.

    I also had no issues getting the TSB done in FL, despite the "high altitude" mentioned in the TSB. My Taco is mostly stock. The only change in the drive train I have made is exhaust, mostly to help another member on TW, and I am quite pleased with the result. Truck post TSB drives so much better now.

    I used Bev Smith in Fort Pierce, they have treated me right and seem to work at giving "quality service". Clearly they want to pull in service work. Though I will say the service was not fast, took about 1.5 hours in and out.

    All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    @Blazingbluesport
    Nice looking truck, I like that setup! Like those two pups in the back as well.

    Well what about a thread that is “What you almost did to your Tacoma today”?

    I had a sweet deal on CL fall right thru my fingers. Alu-Cab Shadow Awning, Snowmaster 66..why god?!?:(
    Well not exactly the guy just sold his entire truck to his buddy. So at least someone got hooked up.

    Nothing to taco lately. Getting parts ready for headlight rework for winter project. Did get 4 new tires for my 30yr old truck. $279.96 for everything...:yes:...lol

    Not worth a pic. Old 1988 nissan truck with 275k miles. Bed is rusting thru from hauling firewood for years but runs as good as it did when we bought it new....195/75/14's. Lol

    I know what you mean! Great price per tire, reminds me of the 80’s.

    Took the dealer sticker off, the V6 off, and added raised letters. Happy with the results. I sort of thought about putting the V6 on the grill like the old trucks had, maybe down the road.

    Krown rustproofed, washed and waxed. Ready for fall! Next will be winter tires, what do you guys who deal with the snow suggest?
