    Hey All,

I've been inspired by a few folks on here who have blacked out their side mirrors - typically I have seen them wrap it with a satin vinyl as the plastic on the mirror isnt as matte as some of the other accents and will generally blend better with the Meso Ultimate turn signals.

I was considering wrapping it but have no experience with that and am not sure I will get it right - similarly, there aren't any shops in the area that do wraps.

I did come across these aftermarket mirror covers that come ready for paint and reasonably cheap - so my question to all those better with body/paint/exterior work (I'm more grease-monkey) - do you all think it would be worth it to simply grab these and a nice can of Krylon SuperMaxx in Satin and paint these versus having to film and potentially re-film in a few years?

I would recommend SEM Trim Black, I did the mirrors and other trim on my car about 10 years ago and they still look great.

Thank you for the recommmendation - never heard of that before. What kind of finish does it have? Matte / Satin / Gloss? Did you clear over it?

NP, It is made specifically for the trim on vehicles and has a factory black appearance, no need to clear.
